my mother was sharing this poem with me this morning and i wanted to pass it along. how great would be as a huge plaque in your house! LOL.
Cleaning and scrubbing can wait til tomorrow,
For babies grow up, we've learned, to our sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust, go to sleep
I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep
The title of the poem is "Song for a Fifth Child" by Ruth Hulburt Hamilton. It was published in The Ladies' Home Journal in 1938.
happy friday everyone! :)
