FOOD!
i'm always on the hunt for a new recipe. here are two i've come across and have made quite frequently since...
i serve it over jasmine rice w/ broccoli and crescent rolls
i also put green onions on top and have it with homemade rolls, cesar salad and a baked potato

Valentine's Day 2011
we have the BEST bakery here in town, and they have the BEST cookies! so i was super excited when my parents bought me one for valentine's day this year :)
our traditional valentine's dinner (heart shaped pepperoni pizza)
our playgroup at church was having a special valentine's scooter party at the park and we each were asked to bring a snack. kids love cookies and peanut butter and jelly, so why not turn them all into one. here's where i saw the idea and the recipe i used.
and his valentine card for his friends...

he made it to 2! i took him to the doctors last week and he is now 36 inches and 36 pounds :)
i'm so late on blogging about his birthday, but here it is...
here he is reading his card from great grandma and grandpa
his special birthday breakfast (he wanted donuts)
he's been OBSESSED with the movie despicable me since it came out. so it was only fitting to have minions as his birthday "cake". here's where i saw the idea (hers are much better, lol)
his birthday gifts from mom and dad (chuck the talking truck and a race car rug)
we took pictures this past weekend. he definintly wasn't up for it!
but i did manage to get a few...
little man tie
if nathan adds one more plaid tie to his collection, i'm gonna scream! so i had to come up with some cooler ones...
here's the tutorial. and they're pretty fast and easy :) my kind of craft!
