yesterday we celebrated jarens 29th birthday. instead of cake, he wanted a dewars (local popular ice cream/treat store) peppermint shake and some peppermint ice cream to take home. we also had steak and bbq ribs for dinner. YUM! no pictures of his bday gift yet since i didn't finish it in time :(

but this morning for his belated birthday breakfast, we made strawberry funnel cakes.
they were soooooo good!!
