after reading this blog and then reading this story i knew i had to get involved! it made total sense! so i'm starting a "group" called PROJECT GIGGLE GOWNS. we'll (various women who have already jumped on board) be making hospital gowns to donate to childrens hospitals. but we're gonna spunk them up a bit, adding ruffles, appliques, fun prints etc. and i'm very excited that i found a baby, toddler, smaller child and larger child pattern.
so here is the first ever giggle gown :) currently it's on its way to the ronald mcdonald house in seattle washington. my little cousin is in the childrens hospital re-couping from her 6 hr surgery. she is one tough cookie, that's for sure! hopefully this gown will bring some cheer and "giggles" to her.

That's awesome Kathryn. Kylee will love it.
So cute! What a blessing for your little cousin. I love the gown. Did you double line it? Did you use velcro on the top? It turned out really nice.
I have a question about these gowns. This one is beautiful! I have a friend whose grandson was just diagnosed with lukemia. If I make this gown for the little one, will I just be making more work for his mama? She'll have to wash it, etc......
I love these. Where did you find your patterns?
