this is what happens at my house when daddy pulls in the driveway...
yesterday i didn't have to babysit and spent most the day crafting. no big shocker there!
here are my cookie pops...
the container is a soup can wrapped with scrapbook paper. inside is some rice to add weight, a piece of styrofoam to stick the sticks into and red crinkle paper on top. saw the idea at celebrating today :) thanks!

i used glace icing that "hardens". here's the recipe along with a tutorial. and i also used my mother-in-laws sugar cookie recipe. so THANK YOU to her cause they're delicious cookies!
with some leftover christmas ribbon, heart cupcake picks i've had for YEARS and leftover ribbon from nathans bathroom towels, i was able to make a wreath.
i also whipped up a tie for nathan to wear to church for valentine's day. here's where i found the pattern....
paper doilies strung with red curling ribbon. so easy and cheap and looks so cute!
